What is Lifestyle Medicine?

Lifestyle medicine involves knowing how to use your everyday habits (eating, drinking, sleeping, moving, communicating) to improve your health.

At its core, Lifestyle medicine empowers individuals to manage and improve their health. It is an integrated whole-person* health approach focusing on managing lifestyle-related chronic medical conditions. Lifestyle Medicine helps you to navigate your health journey.

Lifestyle Medicine acknowledges and values your uniqueness. We explore your behaviour and habits, your physical health, your mental health, your environment and your emotional life. We want to empower you to understand why and what you want to change.  We want to help you take positive actions toward better health and vitality.

*a whole-person approach means not just focusing on the condition and the area of the body it affects but looking at the whole person; their body, mind and environment.
